There are different things that are contained in the beginning a movie for example for purchased movies  and ones watched in the movies, adverts come on first in order to promote other films (this is a type of synergy). Also the advertisement of the production/distribution company responsible for the movie is shown after the advertisements.

Depending on the movie the cautions,warnings and age certificate pertaining to the film is displayed before the production/distribution company in order to create awareness of how appropriate a movie is appropriate.
